About Us
What is SEA?
The Southeast Environmental Association (SEA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1992. SEA is directed by a board of directors consisting of fifteen volunteers representing various sectors of our society including business, government, youth and education. The volunteer board is lead by an Executive Committee consisting of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
SEA Objectives
- To implement a comprehensive environmental management plan.
- To work with area communities and stakeholders on their vision for a better environment.
- To promote environmental stewardship through public education and awareness programming.
- To create pilot projects involving communities and stakeholders demonstrating solutions to environmental problems.
